  1. First you need the layout to be a PDF. Click  Click Share and click the layout export.
  2. Make sure that it is saved as type PDF.
  3. Open this PDF in Adobe illustrator, and go to the file, click the save as tab. Here, you have the option to change the file type, and you should choose AI file type.
