Step 1 - From a web browser, navigate to https://mynetid.rice.edu/

Step 2 - Enter your NetID followed by NetID password, then select Sign In.

Step 3 - Select Send Me a Push to push a notification to an iPhone/Android with our Duo 2 Factor Authentication app.  For more info about Duo, please see: https://kb.rice.edu/78235

Step 4 - Select Approve to confirm your identity.

Step 5 – Select Change your account passwords.

Step 6 - Select the radio button displayed next to google apps to update your Rice Google account password.

Step 7 - Enter your new password into both submission fields, then select Submit.

Note: Effective May 17, 2021, new Rice Google account holders will use their NetID password to login to Google. Individuals with Rice Google accounts that were established prior to May 17, 2021 will continue to have a separate Google password that differs from their NetID password.  If individuals would prefer to have one less password to remember or have forgotten their Rice Google account password, they may synchronize the account passwords by updating their NetID password using the instructions shown here: How to Change NetID Password.Image Removed
