If there is no audio through your headset/headphone, or the internal laptop speaker is not muted when headphones are plugged in, follow these steps:
- Type "task manager" in the search bar next to the Start Menu
- Click Task Manager to open the app
- Click More details
- Go to the Startup tab
- Select "Realtek HD Audio Universal Service" and click Disable
- Close all applications and restart the computer.
