For music, Canon R700 in auto mode, Zoom overlaid on video camera is the best, followed by the internal-mic.
For talk, Canon R700 in auto mode, internal mic or shotgun mic works well.
Affecting factors:
- camera mode
- distance between the camera/mic and the subject (in our situation, camera and mic are placed together. but they could be placed in two places, closer or farther to the subject)
- room ( we can’t compare this factor since we don’t have footage recorded in other rooms)
- input level on the audio recorder or mic (do we have any notes for this, for instance, the input level for Zoom)
