Step 1 - From a web browser, navigate to https://mynetid.rice.edu/
Step 2 - Enter your NetID followed by NetID password, then select Sign In.
Step 3 - Select Send Me a Push to push a notification to an iPhone/Android with our Duo 2 Factor Authentication app. For more info about Duo, please see: https://kb.rice.edu/78235
Step 4 - Select Approve to confirm your identity.
Step 5 – Select Change your account passwords.
Step 6 - Select the radio button displayed next to google apps to update your Rice Google account password.
Step 7 - Enter your new password into both submission fields, then select Submit.
Users who set their Rice NetID password before May 17, 2021 (or did not access their Rice Google account before this date) will need to update their NetID password to access the Rice Google account. After updating your NetID password, both passwords will sync together within 15 minutes.
