Fondren Library's licensing agreement supports up to five simultaneous users on SimplyAnalytics. Please log off the platform when you are no longer using it to allow others to access the resource.

Remote Access

  1. Navigate to Fondren Library’s homepage: library.rice.edu.
  2. Click Databases.



  3. In the Database search bar, type “simplyanalytics” and choose the result that populates.



  4. Choose Create an account from the Simply Analytics launch page and follow instructions. You will need to confirm your account by checking your e-mail inbox.

Note: If you are off-campus, you will be prompted to enter your NetID and password.

Directly from SimplyAnalytics

The product developers offer help through a Help Center that provides answers to frequently asked questions and a tutorial video. Go to their website, sign in, and click Support in the top right of the screen.

Individual Assistance at the GIS/Data Center

All faculty, staff, and students at Rice, as well as visitors who are members of Friends of Fondren Library are eligible for individual assistance, though Rice affiliates will receive first priority for our staff's time.
