To change or update your preferred first name or email display name, you will need to submit an IO service request.

Note:  This instructions apply to faculty/staff only.  Students will need to update their preferred first name via ESTHER

1. Sign in to https://io.rice.edu
2. Go to HR/Finance Help Desk, and click on HR/Finance Service Requests
   
   
3. Click Create Service Request
   
   
4. Enter your Service Request details.  Select Save and Close when you are done entering your Service Request
