Using the Scheduling Assistant in Outlook 365

The Scheduling Assistant tool in Outlook can assist you with finding the most suitable meeting time for attendees, without having to send emails back and forth asking them for their availability.

 

  1. Click on New Items, and then click on Meeting.


  2. Add in the Required Attendees, Location, and type your message.

  3. Click on the Scheduling Assistant tab



  4. You can either locate a meeting time that suits everyone’s availability manually (drag the vertical blue bars), or you can click the AutoPick button, click on Required People in the drop-down menu, and it will automatically identify the soonest available time.



  5. Click the Send button to send out the meeting invitation when done.
