The Office of Information Technology (OIT) recommends that you use Microsoft Outlook app to access your Microsoft 365 Email & Calendar.  The Outlook app was designed to work with Microsoft 365 and provides more features and functionality than the native Android email and calendar applications.

Step 1 - Download the 'Microsoft Outlook for Android' app from the Google Play Store by searching for ‘Microsoft Outlook’, then select Install.

 

Step 2 -  Select Open after the installation has completed.

 

Step 3 - Select Get Started.

 

Step 4 - The app may detect other email accounts on the device.  To add additional email accounts choose the account/s to add, then select Add Account (Optional).

 

To skip this step, deselect the accounts by unchecking, then select Skip.

 

Step 5 - Enter your NetID@rice.edu email address, then select Continue.

 

Step 6 - Enter your NetID password, then select Sign In.
