Using Rules to manage emails in Outlook 365
Rules allow you to process messages automatically. For example, you can use Rules to move messages from a sender, or words in the subject line to a specific folder, where you can review them later.
There are several ways to set up a rule in Outlook.
The quickest way is detailed below.
- Right click on the message you would like to set up a rule for and then click on Rules and then Create Rule… in the sub menu that appears.
- Select the options desired in the Create Rule window. Click the OK button when done.
