After obtaining your data, you can process them in many ways. For the following basic processing steps, follow the guide instructions:

Clipping, Merging, Joining Tables, Symbolizing, and/or Adding a Legend.

If you intend to have roads in your final product, you should clip the file. This cuts it to the area of your focus and helps ArcMap work more quickly.
