By default, the ‘Export Features’ window will only export the selected features using the coordinate system of the data source. Also notice that the output feature class location defaults to the HydrologyLab geodatabase, because you initially set this as that is your default geodatabase for this project.

1. For ‘Output feature class:’Name’, rename Subwatershed_CopyFeatures to “type “SubwatershedsNew”.
2. Ensure your ‘Copy ‘Export Features’ window appears as shown below and click RunOK.

Since you’ve exported the particular subwatersheds of interest, you may now remove the master Subwatersheds layer from your map document.

1. RightIn the Contents pane, right-click the Subwatershed layer and select Remove.
