The Office of Information Technology (OIT) recommends that you use Microsoft Outlook app to access your Microsoft 365 Email & Calendar. The Outlook app was designed to work with Microsoft 365 and provides more features and functionality than the native Android email and calendar applications.
Step 1 - Download the Microsoft Outlook Download the 'Microsoft Outlook for Android' app from the Google Play Store by searching for ‘Microsoft Outlook’, then select Install.
Step 2 - Select the Microsoft Outlook app, select Install Select Open after the installation has completed.
Step 3 - Select "Open" after the installation has completedSelect Get Started.
Step 4 - Select ‘Get Started’
Step 5 - Your device may automatically The app may detect other email accounts already present on the device. To add additional email accounts choose the account/s to add, then select Add Account (Optional). Select ‘Skip’.
To skip this step, deselect the accounts by unchecking, then select Skip.
Step 5 - Enter your NetID@rice.eduStep 6 - Enter your NetID email address, then select 'Continue'.
Step 7 6 - Enter Enter your NetID password, then select ‘Sign In’ Sign In.
