The Office of Information Technology (OIT) recommends that you use Microsoft Outlook app to access your Microsoft 365 Email & Calendar. The Outlook app was designed to work with Microsoft 365 and provides more features and functionality than the native Android email and calendar applications.
Step 1 - Download the Microsoft Outlook Download the 'Microsoft Outlook for Android' app from the Google Play Store by searching for ‘Microsoft Outlook’, then select 'Install'.
Step 2 - Select ' Select Open' after the installation has completed.
Step 3 - Select 'Select Get Started'.
Step 4 - The application app may detect other email accounts on the device, you can choose 'Skip' or select 'Add Accounts' (Optional).. To add additional email accounts choose the account/s to add, then select Add Account (Optional).
To skip this step, deselect the accounts by unchecking, then select Skip.
Step 5 - Enter your NetID Enter your NetID@rice.edu email address, then select 'Continue'.
Step 6 - Enter your NetID password, then select 'Sign In'.
