Note: The Mudd Printers have primarily been used by students and students will be charged to their Owlnet printing accounts. The information was prepared primarily for student use of these plotters.
It is not clear how faculty and staff will be charged. You can call Rice help desk at x4357 to get more information.

Earth Sciences Department Plotters (Keith-Wiess Geological Laboratories Rm. 304)
The Department of Earth Sciences has two HP DesignJet 5500ps plotters that can be used for Rice-related research, teaching, and educational purposes at reasonable costs. The plots can be charged
to any D, G, or R fund. The plotting is a self-service.
The department stocks paper up to 50" inches wide but will allow you to feed your own paper up to 60" wide. Paper are available in width of 36", 42", 54", and of type of Photo Glossy, Water Resistant,
Plain, and Heavy Weight Coated. The department also provides two types of dyes: uv dye and regular dye for different purpose printings.
Pricing: Flat Rate (posters up to 60" long) - $35.00
