Setting up “Undo Send” in your email via Outlook in the Web App

*NOTE: This tip is only compatible with the Outlook Web App

Undo Send enables you to cancel an email message after you’ve selected “send”.

  1. In the Outlook Web App, select “Settings” from the tools ribbon in the upper right corner.

      2. Select “View All Outlook Settings” at the bottom of the window.

 3. In the “Search Settings” type “Undo Send” and press enter. 

4. Under the Compose and Reply heading, you should now see “Undo Send”.

    1. You can cancel and email messages after you’ve selected Send.
    2. To cancel a sent email, select the “Undo” button that appears at the bottom of your screen.

c. Messages can be canceled for up to 10 seconds.

d. You can use the toggle bar to set your preference between 1 and 10 seconds.
