Using Rules to manage emails in Outlook 365

 

Rules allow you to process messages automatically. For example, you can use Rules to move messages from a sender, or words in the subject line to a specific folder, where you can review them later.

There are several ways to set up a rule in Outlook.

The quickest way is detailed below.

 

  1. Right click on the message you would like to set up a rule for and then click on Rules and then Create Rule… in the sub menu that appears.



  2. Select the options desired in the Create Rule window. Click the OK button when done.
