What is Ektron eMPower?
eMPower is a legacy content management system in use by around 30 web sites created and hosted by Web Services at Rice. It employs a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) web editor that works with Internet Explorer on a PC (v. 5.5 through 7.0) and requires a small additional software installation. Macintosh users will need to install Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection software to login to a Terminal Server where they can run a copy of PC Internet Explorer.
