Video materials cataloged on this format include VHS cassette tapes and 4 ¾ in. DVD optical discs.

Apply For original cataloging apply RDA rules. Older records use AACR2, Chapter 7 (to be repaced by RDA) as well as 7 as a guideline. It is not necessary to upgrade OCLC AACR2 records to RDA. Also consult Bibliographic Formats and Standards.  Assign subject headings from LC Subject Headings.  Create call numbers in accordance with LC Classification Schedules.
