Oversize Books
Items 40 Items 42 centimeters tall or wide are considered oversize (except in Brown Library where different standards prevail (see Item Types—Defined and Described, Section X, Chapter C).
“OVERSIZE” is included as part of the call number, both on the title page and on the spine label. “OVERSIZE” appears at the head of the call number, after any other special location, such as “Reference”.

If there is also an analytic record for an oversize volume which is part of a set or serial, oversize information appears on the record for the analytic as well as on the set or serial record.
