- Bring up the corresponding record by barcode (Modify Title > Search by Item ID)
- Verify that the item in hand matches the record. Be sure and compare the copy number and volume/issue information.
- Update the Item record (the Call Number/Item tab)
- In the Item Information section, change the Home Location to Withdrawn (the Current Location will change to be the same when you save the record).
- In the Extended Information section, add a Staff note Note that states wd withdrawn per <initials of person who requested withdrawal> <date of withdrawal>
- Save the edited catalog record.
