Books that are over one inch and a half will get a flag with the note, "Bind as Rec'd," and a piggy-back barcode (Detachable barcode) attached to the flag, not the book. (Except if it is a 'rush' book) The call number goes in the usual place- title page, but the control number is written about a centimeter to two centimeters above the corner of the book to allow trimming space when it goes to the binding department.
