This report is ran manually every month to in order update the SerialTitlesList_Approvals-updated spreadsheet that is located on T:\TechServ\Cataloging\Approvals Serials Titles.

 

To run the report in Sirsi, follow these steps:

  1. Open Schedule New Reports. Look for the New Standing Reports for Lauren report.
  2. Click the Setup & Schedule button to setup the report.
  3. Now navigate over to the third tab, Order Selection. This is where you will need to change the date.
  4. Click on the button to the right of the Date Created field. On the screenshot above, this is the field that contains " >5/19/2015". Once clicked, a box will appear in which you will need to input in the last time that you ran the report. This is easy to keep track as a calendar or notification update in your work calendar. It is quicker to type in the date than to use the calendar widget button to the right of the date.
  5. Once you have inputted in the date, click the Ok button. You will now be back on the Order Selection tab page. Click the Run Now button.
  6. Once the report has finished running, you will want to view the report. You do this by going to Finished Reports, clicking on the New Standing Orders for Lauren report so it is highlighted, and then clicking on the View button. Makes sure all three check boxes are checked and click the Ok button.
  7. When the report opens up, scroll down to the bottom and if there are any standing orders that have been added to Sirsi from the time that you ran the last report to now, they will show up at the bottom of the report.
  8. Copy the title of the Standing Order and paste it into the SerialTitlesList_Approvals-updated.xlsx file. This is done so a person can type in the name of the title they are searching for in the filter section. If the name appears, then that item they are searching is part of a Standing Order. Verify this information in Sirsi in case the Standing Order has been cancelled.
