Acquisitions staff inputs the control records for direct access continuing resources as needed. For some ongoing packages (JSTOR, Project Muse, and DigiZeitschriften) and free online titles, the Serials Cataloger creates the control record.
3.4 URL maintenance
Once a month, IT runs a report on the Sirsi database which extracts urls from the 856 fields of all current continuing resources and exports them into a text file, which is emailed to the Serials Cataloger for processing.
