If you are a Texas resident, you can get a HPL (Houston Public Library) card and then access lynda.com without any cost starting 02/2016. Lynda.com provides nearly 5000 video courses on software, technology, coding, arts, design, and business skills. It is similar to YouTube videos or MOOCs without the interactive component.
